Expert´s Opinion

It is a MUST PLAY, is one of those courses without average hole, all of them have something special.

Description

The Buenos Aires GC opened in 1994 and was the host of the EMC Golf World Cup in 2000, when the United States Team (Tiger Woods and David Duval) defeated in the last round the argentine team (Romero and Cabrera). This 7000 yards, par 72 course designed by Robert Von Hagge is full of water and bunkers with excellent greens and marvelous maintenance. The club has 3 different 9 holes loops: Green, Blue and Yellow. In 2005 Golf Digest ranked BAGC among its top 100 courses.

Signature Hole

The # 8th  Yellow (17th), par 4 of 343 yards, has one of the few "island greens" in Argentina. In this short par 4 Cabrera lost the 2007 Argentine Open hitting 3 balls into the water. You need excelent precission both for the tee shot and approach to have chances in this small and windy island.
