Cariló is a particular course. Entertaining, challenging and varied. Closed, with many trees and that requires hitting all kinds of shots from the tee. Even on par 5s, you often have to use a wood or iron from the tee.
This is a short golf course, but very entertaining, with very narrow fairways, surrounded by pine trees, with severe doglegs both ways, demanding blind shots from the tees. The course is almost 6.400 yards, par 73 for men and 5.400 yards for women, par 74. The challenge comes from the design of this golf course, which demands strategy in every hole. Playing golf in this course is like playing a chess game, having to think about your golf swing, about the nuances in the course, odds and having to make lots of tough decisions. In other words, a true game of golf.
The 14th hole is a 482 yard par 5. A dogleg right. From the tee you´ll need to hit a fade with your driver, or hit a shorter club to the curve. In the middle of the fairway you´ll find El Guerrero, a huge pine tree. Reachable in 2 shots, with a great depression just before the green, which is also guarded by a bunker and trees.
