Expert´s Opinion

Wegolf has been there many times, from its beginnings in 2003 when they only had 9 holes until already in 2017 when its greens are better than ever and they have nothing to envy those of the PGA Tour. The owners, besides being very good golfers, are passionate about the sport and this means that they are in all the details. Going to Potrerillo is one of the best golf programs in Argentina and many times a single round is not enough to be satisfied. And it is a demanding course, do not mistake the starting tee and play what the card indicates according to the handicap.

Description

Potrerillo de Larreta GC was built with the advice of architect Marcos Capdepont, considered on the best golf course designers in Argentina. The fairways are meadows covered with pure tiffway grass, with a top sprinkler irrigation system. Greens have been sown with tifdwarf and in winter they are re-sown with seasonal grasses. The 18 hole golf course is situated in a valley surrounded by hills, so the place is well protected from winds and the fairways are built within gullies, making it difficult to know exactly in which direction the wind is blowing.

Signature Hole

The 7th hole, a 396 yards par 4. In the best part of the land the hole is an extraordinary dogleg to the right, with the fairway about 20 meters below the starting. On the right hand side of the fairway you´ll find a huge eucalyptus that blocks the shot to the green, which is protected by water to the front and left side.
