Expert´s Opinion

It´s incredibe how this course has evolved since its opening. It is a fantastic venue, very creative, where golfers of all levels will enjoy choosing the correct set of tees. Is like playing 3 course in 1 (mountains, river and woods) with amazing views, elevated tee shots and demanding skills the short game.

Description

Designed and built by local arquitect Federico "Frankie" Bunge around a traditional “estancia” which belongued to the Argentine President Julio Argentino Roca, this trail starts in the woods, then plays in the middle of the sierras from the 3rd hole trhough the 9th hole, then by the natural river from the 10th hole to the 15th hole, and then comes back to the woods in the 16th hole, surrounding the ranch mansion. It is a very creative design, with a wide variety of golf holes and a lot of challenging carries, demanding approach shots and with pristine maintenance. The view from the 17th tee with the mansion behind the green is unique.

Signature Hole

The 11th hole, a par 5 of 536 yards, called "Barrancas", presents a downhill tee shot offering the advantage necessary to get the green in 2 shots, the approach requires a precise carry over the river or the ball will swim down into the river.
